Straight answers about AI Panic — what the platform is, how the news feed and its Sources work, what the Attention Score and Signals mean (and what they do not mean), how AI Market Pulse handles prices, what an account adds (watchlist, alerts, profile), what AI Panic Plus changes, and how trust, privacy and commercial content are handled. Learning material lives in the Academy.
AI Panic is an AI-news intelligence platform that combines multi-source reporting with Attention, Signals and AI Market Pulse, helping readers understand important developments without opening dozens of sites.
It serves builders, investors, researchers, creators, founders and curious beginners. The feed supports fast scanning; source links and Academy content support deeper verification and learning.
AI Panic is mainly an aggregator and intelligence layer, not the original publisher of most stories. Cards identify and link to publishers, whose original reporting remains authoritative.
No. Prices, Attention scores, Signals and related-news context are informational, not personalized recommendations, guarantees or instructions to buy, sell or hold securities.
AI Panic collects configured public news sources and feeds. Every story identifies its publisher and links to the original article for direct inspection.
Stories appear when ingestion processes retrieve and process source items. Visible timestamps provide timing context; “recent” does not guarantee second-by-second coverage.
Publishers often cover the same event or syndicated report. Event grouping reduces duplicate noise and prevents copies from appearing like independent developments.
Ranking uses available context such as freshness, event importance and coverage. It prioritizes investigation; it does not certify truth or predict future impact.
Yes. Inclusion is not endorsement. Publishers and automated classification can be wrong, so important claims should be checked against originals and other reliable sources.
It measures unusually intense verified company coverage versus its normal baseline using unique events, recency and source diversity. It is not sentiment, company quality or investment potential.
Recent unique coverage is compared with a historical 28-day window excluding the latest 24 hours, preventing a spike from inflating its own baseline. Missing history is labeled.
Near-identical coverage is clustered into events, so syndicated copies should not count independently. Separate reporting can strengthen evidence when it adds genuinely distinct coverage.
A neutral indicator that a defined condition occurred, including coverage spikes, breaking clusters, sustained attention, unusual movement, price/news divergence or multi-source confirmation, with supporting evidence.
No. They describe observed conditions. Correlation does not prove causation, and Signals do not forecast returns or guarantee outcomes.
AI Market Pulse uses licensed Marketstack data, retrieved server-side and stored as local snapshots with currency, basis and timestamps. API credentials never reach the browser.
Not currently. The development plan uses daily snapshots with freshness labels. Faster data may arrive through a future paid-data upgrade but is not active yet.
One bundled attempt is permitted on eligible US trading days after the configured New York market-close slot. There are no weekend requests or repeated daily retries.
A provider failure, missing symbol bar or absent expected snapshot can cause this. AI Panic shows honest unavailable or stale states instead of fabricated values.
Conservative company matching can attach Market Context, coverage and Signals to clearly related stories. It supplies context but cannot prove an article caused a price move.
Public news, Academy, FAQ and general markets are open. Signing in is required for watchlists, stock alerts, saved items and account-specific preferences.
Signed-in users can star supported AI-50 companies across lists, charts and matched articles. Duplicate additions are harmless; deliberately excluded securities may not show a star.
Rules can detect a price reaching or exceeding a target, falling to or below one, or reaching a daily percentage movement. They can be edited, paused or deleted.
Checks pause when required data is unavailable or stale. A rule fires once upon entering its matching state and must leave that state before triggering again.
Free includes the public intelligence experience plus defined personal-feature allowances. Current capabilities and limits come from the central plan catalog shown on Plus and profile pages.
Plus increases personal limits and will add premium capabilities. The Plus page separates available benefits from Coming soon items rather than presenting unfinished features as active.
Stripe test configuration is $9.99 monthly or $89.99 yearly. Until live billing launches, the Plus page must not imply a test payment creates a live subscription.
Personal data remains. Excess active alerts are paused deterministically instead of deleted. Re-upgrading does not silently reactivate them, leaving control with the user.
Yes. Automation supports collection, classification, grouping and analysis. Because it can err, AI Panic exposes sources, evidence, timestamps and limitations.
Account features store data needed to provide them. Published privacy information governs exact retention, sharing and user rights; AI Panic should not promise more than implemented policy.
Commercial placements should be clearly labeled and separate from editorial information. Payment must not secretly determine Attention, Signals or evidence, and placeholders are not active sponsors.
Nothing here is investment advice or a legal promise — the FAQ describes implemented product behavior. Details on methodology live in How AI Panic Works.
